ya, what's a girl to do?

You know, I root for Bat for Lashes. When I come across a review — I read it, a new single — I listen. I mean, the girl is a self-styled Lost Boy, but ultimately, the music's a little too singer-songwriter for my liking, albeit with superior instrumentation.

All that said, I do enjoy What's a Girl to Do. Maybe it's The Ronettes' bum-ta-bum-shhh or perhaps the general girl group air, especially The Shangri-la-like drama? Whatever it is, the choreographed BMXers in the video don't hurt.
