Following a week of straight rain and generally dreary weather, today's meteorlogical perfection seems especially enjoyable. What an ideal day to stretch out like a cat in a warm, well-lit spot, which is what I plan to do. Only, unlike a cat, I'll be thumbing (oh, bad jokes) through a pile of records and will stretch out on the floor with a turntable to choose what I'll play next weekend at the Bust Spring Fling. I also like shameless self-promotion, so should you be in Williamsburg, Brooklyn next Sunday afternoon, drop by. I'm thinking 60s soul, girl group and yé-yé - all heavy on the girl, of course. It should be fun.
