christmastime is here

Here I am, back in Chicago. Quiet times in Mexico City spent strolling through lush parks and thoughts of pleasantly chilly evenings sitting outside with a beverage, hold sway over me as I brace myself for a cruel Chicago winter. Snow is falling and is forecast to continue through tomorrow afternoon. Seems Mother Nature and the major networks are in cahoots, premiering Charlie Brown's Christmas Special and our first 24-hour long snowstorm all at once.
